As the year comes to a close, I think it makes the most sense to me to take a look at the trends of 2011 logos, learn and move on to making new things for 2012!
I don’t know much about logo design to begin with, but I’ve never seen any logo quite like the one from Nordkyn. It’s quite ingenious.

has me squeeing every couple of pages. I really hope they make an anime* of this soon. I imagine the main girl to be a less curvy version of Hanekawa from Bakemonogatari, and the main guy to look like one of the guys from Starry Sky.

Winter anime
After watching some of the trailers from this list, I’ll definitely be watching Nisemonogatari. Other series I might start include Another, Inu x Boku, and Ano Natsu de Matteru. If I have even more time to kill, I might add Senhime Zesshou Symphogear to the list because I like the idea of pop stars being superheroes/magical girls.
